Still in the works, this song means to give a POV to the "other woman" in a relationship. She is not the villain, but rather the villain is the person who decided cheat with her. She knows she's being treated poorly, but still goes back to them.

My co-writer, Dennis Asiimwe & I, pitched this song to Michael Buble, back in about 2005. The post said he was looking for Swing love songs, a la Sinatra or Nat King Cole. We were not successful.

Believing in ourselves doesn't always come easy, but if we want to find a love worth having, we must believe. It's a romantic view of love, and this song holds that sentiment. We don't have to rush it, but we do have to give ourselves fully over to it if we believe in that this type of love is possible.

This is a throwback vocal jazz tune a la Peggy Lee, Ella, Dinah Washington, etc. The song evolved from a nice chord progression, which easily suggested the vibe and the sweet melody and lyric.
