Romeo and Juliet is as much a tragedy as a love story. Shakespeare is quoted in the last lines.
Thieves don’t try to rob empty houses and evil can’t stand matches made in Heaven.
“The course of true love never did run smooth.” From a Midsummer Night’s Dream by Shakespeare fits also.

A branch off the original male version…from a female point of view, that’s different though. There’s always men who come onto women based on looks only and have no clue about what she already knows- she’d be too much for him.

The original tinder box idea came about from a Wordplay Thursday word “difference.” A song about how there’s always women who want a “bad boy”, but would never be able to handle one or be happy with one. It’s written from his point of view. Yet, could easily be a simple incompatibility song.
