Believing in ourselves doesn't always come easy, but if we want to find a love worth having, we must believe. It's a romantic view of love, and this song holds that sentiment. We don't have to rush it, but we do have to give ourselves fully over to it if we believe in that this type of love is possible.

I wrote this song in my youth when going through a divorce with my childhood sweetheart who struggled with addiction. Not to worry, there was no domestic violence. Broken Teacups is simply an analogy for my broken heart. I was happy with this simple bluegrass song, and think it is one many people can relate to in life. In this case, I wrote the music and the lyrics.

This song was written as part of a collection entitled, Angelic Awakenings. I wrote these songs to help individuals work through grief and loss. Some losses are more difficult and cause complicated grief, and so these songs were written to help people feel the spiritual connection to the loved ones they have lost.
