Get Her Out Get Her Out

Sitting in my apartment. Replacing RAM on my computer. Thinking about how we all have "slots" and everyone we meet, who becomes a real friend, takes one. And with that, it's our responsibility to help others by replacing their old, corrupted memory

I Made It I Made It

An empowering song to help you get through the day... Motivational lyrics with a little rap twisted into it.

I Don’t Know How To Say I Love You I Don’t Know How To Say I Love You

Update to earlier recording. Special thanks to Andrew Bashaw for the "smile when singing" suggestion and Barbara Cloyd (from Nashville) for a loving critique and pacing suggestions.

Cold, Cold Wind Cold, Cold Wind

This song is about the stuggle to deal with changes in life. I was really going through a rough point when I wrote this but I also think it brought out my inner songwriter. Melancholy can produce some great material sometimes.

Make Me Wait Make Me Wait

I wrote this song a few years ago, back when I first started getting into songwriting. It's the only song I've written about a past situation, it's about my parent's divorce when I was thirteen and still picking up pieces of the broken home.

Don’t Fail Me Now Don’t Fail Me Now

The CD player in my van broke this summer so I listened to more of the radio than I had since probably high school. It wasn't as grueling as I thought it'd be, I think it's helped influence my songwriting a bit. I tried to make this a decent pop song

The Park The Park

This song was inspired by an unknown man I once noticed in passing last winter. He was alone, sitting isolated and coatless on the swingset of a nieghborhood park in my hometown. This song I wrote from what might have been his perspective that day.

Going Up Going Up

Boy meets girl, boy writes song for girl. When I tell her I love her, there's a kind of mutual strength and vulnerability in it. I tried to play these emotions off of one another. It's the first love song I've ever written.
