About This Song

Sitting in my apartment. Replacing RAM on my computer. Thinking about how we all have "slots" and everyone we meet, who becomes a real friend, takes one. And with that, it's our responsibility to help others by replacing their old, corrupted memory

Feedback Requested

I'd actually like it if someone wrote a bridge to this. I filled in the gap where a bridge could be with some singing. In a perfect world, the bridge would reinforce the "Get Her Out" title. Ready, go.

Thanks for the invitation to try writing a bridge. Hope this has something in it you might be looking for.

Matt: Your voice sounds great. It was neat to hear the chorus of this song covered before I’ve even performed it live! Gave me affirmation that the chorus needed to be changed for clarity purposes, a comment my friend gave me when listening to the song.

I’ve made a new version of it called “Shipwreck” here.  http://frettie.com/track_detail/353

Perhaps the theme clarification and imagery will help to match a “niche” bridge to the song that makes a true statement. Thanks for round one.  Care to join me in the second round of this song?

Thanks! I really like the new version - enough to definitely want to play around with it some more. What was cool was just the idea of learning a song that was recently birthed.

Joey, I really like this song, it still needs some fine tuning, but it’s a good song.

I like this tune - it has a unique sound and I could hear this on a movie sound track.  Have you every consider joining taxi.com?

Well, has she lost her memory?
Or finally forgotten me?
So, I'm just a number in the crowd
A ghost, that all her friends don't know.

But when she's around me
I still get these chills down my spine
I may be a ghost she don't know
But we're still lovers in my mind

Help me get her out of my head
Help me get her out of my heart
I'll trade hers, for yours
If you promise we'll never fall apart

I used to be hers
I used to have the strength to hold
I used to love like a hurricane
Till everything kept spinning from control

Help me get her out of my head
Help me get her out of my heart
I'll trade hers, for yours
If you promise we'll never fall apart
