Written and recorded a long time ago when I was in a band. The song is really just about loving someone warts and all. In this case, someone who has become a shell of their former selves.

Every year my best friends from college meet up for a reunion at a football game in Tallahassee. We were thick as thieves in college and it all comes right back when we get together. We all look forward to that one weekend a year. Are lives pretty much diverge the other 362 days a year.

This song was processed in 5 different studios. Except the vocals everything is homemade. The vocalist Dave Demay was Star Search Champion in 1989. My son Dennis played the guitar solo at the end. My friend Kai played the keys and did the arrangement.

This is the first time I added drums to my songs. It's about being okay with hard days. I tried to write an easy song so I could add the drums.
