Everyone has their own unique story versions of the “good old days”. It seems the older one gets sometimes those glory days stories seem to grow and character of the story gets a little bit cooler with each narrations. This is a tribute to campfire tall tales of the glory days and storytellers out there.

I was asked to write a theme song for a Christian teenage girls youth summer camp. I was lucky enough to work with my favorite producer Dave Zimmerman at Noisebox studios for this one.

I think everyone has those days when they don't feel like they measure up. This song is how I felt during one of my funks. As usual, the production quality isn't great given I do it in my own house with novice equipment!

This is the second song I ever managed to finish. Had loads of failed attempts to get one over the line before this one. By over the line I mean just be able to listen back to it and be happy with it. Probably a well worn subject matter just got it from a story in a TV show I was watching

...Falling in love! After writing it, I produced this song in my kitchen with garageband, so I am very aware of my imperfect pitches at times and novice production skills!

A song I wrote as a gift for my husband on our one year anniversary of being married! Very raw recording.

This was a hard breakup I experienced back in college. We always see 20/20 looking back. Writing this helped me process and learn from what I had been through. What is life without a lesson or two (or a hundred) in heartbreak?

This song was written from a challenge by the open mic host at The Ark in Ann Arbor, MI a few years ago. The challenge was to write a song from a musical instrument's perspective. I chose the microphone, and it morphed into a song about an open mic night.
