Verse 1
Some say I wear this hat too far down
And these legs ain’t seen the sun in a little while
Some say my pickup is covered in too much dust
And when it comes to my wife it wasn’t nothin but luck
Some say , but whoaaa back in my day
(Chorus:)
I was a go for it on 4th and 4
A kiss at midnight with her daddy standing by that door
A largemouth reelin em in
Cowboy boots and skoal cans
A cut up old pair of jeans
A wild eyed southern fried hometown king
Man you should’ve seen me, back in my day
Some Say
Verse 2
Some say I got a little twang in my draw
Some say is it Georgia or Arkansas?
Some say you and some say y’all
Some say come on in, dinners on
Some say, but whoaaa back in my day
(Chorus:)
Bridge:
Rather than the 2 lane, take the long way around
And beer gets colder when the sung goes down..Some Say
(Chorus:)
