This is the second song I ever managed to finish. Had loads of failed attempts to get one over the line before this one. By over the line I mean just be able to listen back to it and be happy with it. Probably a well worn subject matter just got it from a story in a TV show I was watching

James, I’m glad you finally got to where you could listen back to this. Lol. This is a really awesome sounding song. I mean, I heard a line or two that maybe the wording or phrasing could be improved a little to sing and sound smoother, but dang, this is a really great sounding demo. I’m assuming you recorded this yourself, since you said you worked on it a lot. It’s great. Got kind of an 80’s sound to it, but better! Love that falsetto chorus/lift at the end of each verse. Nice job, and thanks for sharing.
