Written while driving back through the Catskill mountains after attending the first Steve Earle "Camp Copperhead" songwriting course. Went for a kind of Dylan-ish feel to it. It's about being ok with being "small" in life.

Got wrapped up in layering instruments, and realized I had made something of a "different tune" - so took that idea and made it about a relationship that was unique and how the two were "singing their own tune"

This started life as a song about giving up, but I decided that was a crappy attitude to promote and reversed it, re-writing everything so that it was about never giving up.

This song is... about abusive relationships.

In terms of style, it's quite lush, heavily guitar-driven with plenty of texture, and rocks out through the second half.

Last year I performed in a local theatre production of Jesus Christ Superstar and this is a song I wrote with two of my co-performers, Alley Bilodeau and Sean Mullaney.

I call it stadium rock. Team has been always a loser and now its time to take action and change things.
