Co-written with the awesome Lisa Caterbone, who is also the wonderful singer on the track. A song about how hard it can be to leave an abusive relationship, and how even best friends sometimes just don't understand that.

I always loved the soundtracks to 70s Westerns by Ennio Morricone. So without listening to any of them again, I set out to make something based on the impressions in my memory - instrumental only (well, some vocals, but they are "nonsense sounds")

Started on a train in Chicago (always have pen and paper handy!) this is a work tape of a song about insomnia and anxiety.

Work tape - this is intended as a "sway-along" song for couples to dance to

Started with a guitar riff I'd had for ages, with the working title "The Rebel Song" until I settled on a concept, which is somewhat "Dead or Alive" in theme I guess. As usual, a work tape more than demo!

Not saying much about it, want to see if people get what it's about. From 2 weeks back, finished on deadline of Play for a Publisher but didn't want to be sad hearing changes after submitting lol! But all ready now, bring it on!

Been revisiting some half-finished songs and getting them down in work tape form! This one has an unconventional structure, not entirely sure what I'd call chorus, bridge etc

This one arose from the "Building a Hit" course on Frettie - one of the audience participation parts was think of what song might go with "What You Don't Know" and I got this idea. I wrote it, but then after writing it changed it from "you" to "she" (though "he" will work as well) so that the song wasn't directed at the listener

This time around, had to add in a solo as haven't done that in a bit, and had fun with some "angry bass"!
