Wrote the lyrics to this many years ago, and finally got around to putting them to music.

This song is actually very much christian based. I was not certain what would be more appropriate as a genre though. It is a description of spiritual rescue. Describing the return of virtue and strength of morals and will. Simply . . .God.

Headlights is the story of a guy heading out after losing a love only to break down on the highway causing him to sit and think too much. He's blinded by headlights coming at him and confused by the road that lies ahead. This is a rough demo. I wanted to explore dark and introspective lyrics and tried to match a dark guitar sound to it.

This is a song that I co-wrote with Todd Kesserling. Todd and I are part of the songwriting group that Dick Plunk runs at Java Central in Westerville OH on the second Weds of each month.

Got the idea for this in a training session at work...the instructor said "soon is not a time". Five minutes later I had the lyrics!
