One of the first times I miced the drums (I had been using the Roland TD6)...ONLY two mics! (I now have a more professional set-up!). But I like the feel and considering, the sound of the drums is okay. I play everything on this but got Nico (French bassist) to add his bit.

My motorbike fanatic mate challenged me to write a biking song. I know bugger all about bikes, or riding, so plenty of research took place. In my fantasy muso network, I imagine Motorhead cutting this.

The debut track from Brave Weather, Dani and I co-wrote this song with the band. The time signature was designed to feel more like you are on a boat, cymbals represent waves crashing, etc.

Lay It Down is the first composition I have uploaded since joining Frettie. Nothing really special about this tune, which is still waiting for some lyrics. It might impress me more if it did have some words to go with it. At this point I think of it as a throw away.
