Lay It Down is the first composition I have uploaded since joining Frettie. Nothing really special about this tune, which is still waiting for some lyrics. It might impress me more if it did have some words to go with it. At this point I think of it as a throw away.

Sometimes it can be frustrating dealing with record labels, radio personnel, and really anyone in the industry who feels like fitting a mold or format is more important that being true to your own heart. This song is a message to them.

This is a little heavier than what I usually write, but lately I've been feeling the nervous about the current state of the world: conflict in the Middle East, extremism on the rise, politics is more divisive than ever and the American ideal seems to be vanishing.

Darkly humourous love song... Recorded on a cheap 4 track in a bedroom in ten minutes, so not the best sound quality
