My attempt to write a sexy song and BRING SEXY BACK!

I almost couldn't finished this song and broke down crying after I completed it. It's about someone I used to love/still love that I lost to drug addiction, severe depression, and suicide. I haven't talked to anyone about it, and just buried the emotions until I wrote this song today, confronting this was emotionally exhausting, but I strangely do feel better after letting it all come to the surface, never realized how much I held in.

This song is about how we are sometimes capable of killing all of the good things in our own lives, such as love and happiness. It's about coping with self-sabotaging loss.

This song is about my experiences with a severe crash after a couple of weeks of drug abuse/self-medicating to escape severe depression. I wrote this song after hitting rock bottom.

This song is about dealing with the anger part of the 5 stages of grief and the confusion from an ended relationship. It's meant to feel raw, dark, unnerving, bitter, hurt, and confused.

About man's vanity and greed..

This is a 'fragment' ...just first verse and chorus with very basic instrumentation (all GarageBand) - a lot more work to do on this. The title is a pun on Edgar Allen Poe's 'The Raven' - sort of shifted to modern times - The idea being that loss and regret are felt just as deeply today as they were when the poem was written 170 years ago.
