Life is so busy and crazy most of the time. Wanted my lady to know that even if we are doing nothing but watching shows, chillin' together, spending time with the boys (4 cats) that's what I look forward to the most.

Remembering the days playing bars and seeing two people meeting then playing that bar again and their officially together. When two "crazies" meet sometimes it works out!

Digging for a 90's country feel this title popped in my head and led me to writing this about a man trying to put out the burn. Standard drinking song!

When trust was broken between love and my heart, I found it impossible to let myself be unguarded. Then she came along and said, “Ok, I’ll hang around and be here for you because I think you’re worth it … even if you don’t”. Lucky me!

It started as a comedy song inspired by "The Chair". Cheesy pick up lines to a waitress at a bar. They would then quote song lyrics. Then it turned into more nostalgia about songs on the radio. Didn't come out as funny. So, I made it "fun" instead.

Inspired by Randy Travis' "Three Wooden Crosses" and a friend of mine named Hope. She was adopted as a child and never knew her dad until she was 25 years old. When they met, it was an unplanned encounter but not as dramatic as the song.

Written 4 years ago. Heard the words "a piece of mine" & "peace of mind" on radio within 15 sec of each other. That was weird. Then, I thought "a piece of my mind" also. Thought I'd try to put all three together. More of a challenge than inspiration.
