I wrote this song to tell the story of a young women falling in love as it's like a storm. Should I run for shelter to protect myself from getting my feelings hurt or should I just weather out the storm to see where it goes.

Sometimes as we work everyday of our lives if feels like, their comes a time when you just want to get away from the day to day stuff. Escape down a dirt road and just get outta town maybe just a sacred place you and your partner like to go and Just have a cold one

I got this idea from one of my friends relationships. It seemed like one day they were fighting then the next day they were happy as can be. This happened all the time, they would break up and get back together and make up. I think some relationships are like that for some reason.

This song is a bout being raised by two sets of parents and what a blessing it can be to have two sets of parents love you when some children don't have one. Breaking up and Divorce was not common back in the older days and was looked to be a bad thing if it happend. This day and age it might be the best thing that could happen for the child and is more common. I had a step dad and mom and I'm very blessed for them.

Growing up in a small town as a teenager, we hung around the railroad tracks near this old railroad station. Part of growing up, playing baseball, breaking hearts and drinking beer. I remember Crushing Pennies on these tracks as well as we would crush a beer can, or finish off a bottle of 99 cent boones farm wine at the time.

This song is about loosing a loved one that you have done so much with. I lost my best friend 5 years ago and he was only 33, I used to pick him up every morning to go to work. Then it hit me one day as I was driving to work, out of the corner of my eye he was there with me and it was an empty front seat without him.

Basically this song is about if you didn't grow up country, driving a three on the tree, shooting a double barrel shotgun, throwing an empty beer can out the window, then you wasn't raised right.
