Georgia Bennett is a young girl who was in a terrible accident and as a result, it has left her with terrible injuries. I read about her online and since the accident, she has been building her life back up, opening her own business and getting on with spreading a positive message. I was really inspired by her story.

Everyone has challenges in life. What impresses me is how people deal with things positively. I love hearing about the story of the underdog rising to the top. Through my work, I have been able to meet lots of marvellous characters. I will always remember a concert I performed where I met a lady who was in a wheelchair, and after the show, we got to talking about music.
She told me how music was so important to her. Bringing up two children on her own with no money was difficult. Whats she loved to do when she could afford it was chill out with a bottle of wine and listen to her records. We discussed how music could recall ugly memories, but more importantly, it brightened life up. Now here she was in a home, in a wheelchair and still turned to music.
Inspiration for the song started with this lady then I started looking at how many women I know that are resolute at just getting on with it.

The Robert Taylor Incident, a.k.a. Livingston Incident or Dechmont Woods Encounter is the name given to claims of sighting an extraterrestrial spacecraft on Dechmont Law in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland in 1979 by forester Robert "Bob" Taylor (1919–2007).
When Taylor returned home from a trip to Dechmont Law dishevelled, his clothes torn and with grazes to his chin and thighs, he claimed he had encountered a "flying dome" which tried to pull him aboard. Due to his injuries, the police recorded the matter as a common assault and the incident is popularly promoted as the "only example of an alien sighting becoming the subject of a criminal investigation"

I have tried to focus on a linear sounding melody in verse to match such songs as Bruces Springsteen's streets of Philadelphia and the killers Mr Brightside. I have specially left the title and hook of the song like Philadelphia at the end of each verse. This is a work tape and had planned to build it up, but I want the song to stand on it own two feet if deciding to act on it more.
