This is a demo I produced over Christmas as one of the 4 finalists for the IMSTA FESTA songwriting competition. the finalist from Toronto, LA, Chicago, and NY had to write a song with "Santorini" in the title for the grand prize to Black Rock Studios in Santorini Greece. It is now being judged and the winner will be announced at NAMM the end of this month. So this is a love song for Santorini:)

This song is an entirely tongue-in-cheek send-up of dance/pop song cliches.

What happened in Paris also happened in Mumbai (India) a few years ago.
As songwriters, we can contribute in different ways. I wrote, "Take A Stand" as a wakeup call, just a few months ago.

In a single year I watched as a friend mourned a brother and another friend entertained the thoughts of taking her own life

This song was inspired by a sermon I heard in church - over 25 years back! The gist of the sermon was, "You've got eyes but you don't see; he's blind but he sees what you don't see."

Sometimes it takes a long time to get there...but eventually we all find our own awakening.
