A song I wrote after I found out my wife had been having an affair, telling lies about me which resulted in my house being broken into by the man and his friend. They trashed the place, beat me up, hit my dog Reef. They did go to Jail thankfully!

After all the dust settled I met my soulmate and I realised the most important thing is to be a beautiful human being to others, you never know what is around the corner.

Thinking about how much things have changed and how divided we are as a nation I am trying to figure out what's going on.

I was recently going through my storage unit cleaning out old pictures, papers, etc. and the thought for this song came upon me. This song is in its infancy in regard to arrangement etc. as I only have it with guitar here.

So, this song could be seen from a man or woman's perspective. It is a simple story of loss and the aftermath that inevitably follows.

A Lover's Christmas, is the perspective of a romantic couple at that time of year. As a fan of both artist I had the obscure thought of what Abba and Coldplay might sound like singing together on a Christmas song. This song is a take on what I was hearing in my head.
