My wife has been suffering from medical issues for years and they are progressively getting worse and I got this idea from that perspective.

Judgement Day is about a guy that escaped a horrible relationship. He is thankful to be out of the relationship but depressed about the state of his life and the consequences of his decisions. So, he goes to the bar to ease his pain.

Inspired by and written for my young daughter who's given me direction in life. But I guess the song works for all loving relationships : )

This is a song I wrote from the perspective of two people in a long term relationship realizing their spark has flamed out, but still loving each other and desperately wanting (and needing) to reconnect like they were in the early days.
