This song started out as a Contemporary Christian song, and then co-writers Paul DeMarco, and Chad Mott and myself found it might have a home in Country or Americana music. It's inspirational, it's life.

Paul deMarco and I had fun writing this song. I guess to sum it up, it's about don't be quick to judge a book by its cover':)

Co-writer Mark Dolin and I wrote this song about 'life'; about growing up and making choices. Also, we saw the humor in this song.
