About This Song

Co-writer Mark Dolin and I wrote this song about 'life'; about growing up and making choices. Also, we saw the humor in this song.

This is an easy feeling song, nice tempo flow to it. The singer sang this well. I also liked the Kind of OCD line!!!  Nice job..

Know What I Mean Mott/Dolin mdolingeneral@gmail.com kaymott@hotmail.com

I remember that day I cut his hair
Said he was broke, he didn’t care
Took my kitchen scissors and I gave him a trim
That's the last time I ever saw him

Corner pub on Friday night
Bar man already flipping the lights
A guy says “Hey there are you alone”
Three blocks later I was home
Jumped out and said thanks for the ride
Got to thinking it over and he wasn’t my type

Some men come, some men go
Me, I go with the flow
Free and easy on my own terms
Kind of OCD and I’m scared of germs
No one gets in my way
I live my life day to day
I’m on a good road, I’m livin’ my dreams
Are you hearin’ me girls, you know what I mean
You know what I mean

Quik Stop, quarter to four
We’re the only two in the store
He was buying ice cream and a Hershey bar
I grabbed chocolate sauce in a little jar
He smiled when he saw what I bought
I know when I see what I want

(repeat chorus)

Dinner is wine, chips and cheese
My apartment’s decked out in a Bohemian theme
Meanwhile

(repeat chorus)
