I wrote this song specifically for another artist's project with their producer Rory Feek, but it didn't make the record. It was pitched around for 6 or 7 years before another young artist came to town and finally recorded it. It was worth the wait.



This is the original demo of what became my first #1 country song recorded by Easton Corbin.

This song was inspired by spending some time traveling for work. The idea is that even though this person isn't perfect and the scenario isn't ideal, he's doing the best he can to provide for his family and in time things will be different.

I was in line and saw this girl. Thought it was her. First song written on ukulele!

I was sitting one day thinking about how when bad things happen in the world, how does "God" determine who survives tragedy or not. That is where this idea originated from. I just penned it quick and recorded it fast to get your thoughts.

This is inspired by a time when I first quit smoking. I remember thinking about how hard it was, but how easy I could slip back into it. So I started a write in the perspective of someone may have done that and what the outcome was.

I think I know, but I have no idea.
