This is simply an impressionistic instrumental track. After I recorded it and listened to it several times, I realized it really seemed to resonate with me. Hope you like it.

A Christmas song -- Musically, this song starts off with a little “Disney flavor,” then as the song progresses, it moves into fairly straight ahead standard Christian beliefs about what Christmas means.

This is one of those “story songs,” the kind of story that almost everyone can relate to. We all make a few wrong turns in life -- I believe God always knows how to help us get back on the right path, if we just let Him.

I immediately loved the words to this love song (imho, words are like a cross between intimate sweetness and sacred compassion). But I didn't like the music for these lyrics, so I wrote new music.

I like the thematic idea of being unworthy, and yet being loved in spite of that — to my way of thinking, a very powerful emotional “trigger” — it seems to me that EVERYBODY wants to be loved IN SPITE of their most obvious shortcomings.

Since no one knows first hand (experientially) what Heaven will be like, when we try to describe what we think Heaven will be like, we say, "What's the best thing you can think of -- well, it's like that, only much better."
