I like the thematic idea of being unworthy, and yet being loved in spite of that — to my way of thinking, a very powerful emotional “trigger” — it seems to me that EVERYBODY wants to be loved IN SPITE of their most obvious shortcomings.

Whoa! I loved the chords following the 2nd chorus and the 2nd verse, “The past…” it definitely turned my head, as I backed up the cycle and played it again - really nice!

Hey Bob, great jazzy tune! I’m not really into Christian music, much too often the lyrics are just simple and cheese cliches, your lyric here is a bit different and more original. Good work, I think it would be worth to record it with a better singer. The piano intro is nice but maybe a little bit too long.
