This is the first track from the NEW 2013 Album 'Broken' by Martin Kimble

Basically, in an attempt to fight off some serious boredom, my cousin and I decided to write the ultimate folk song... something catchy... something simple... something that made us think of old school, train hoppin', hobo folk. This is the result.

Rather than change his bumbling social ways, this guy thinks it would be better to just lie about his failings (not me - purely fictional guy). The singer is a friend, Nick Cardilino

All I can say is that the first time I played this song in public I got a request to play it at someone's funeral. That was three years ago and she is still kicking.

This is the title track to my second CD. It was the last song written for the CD and the last song recorded. I almost gave up on the project until this song was written.

This rough and raw demo was recorded a year ago with drums and vocals first, then guitar was added at a party by Eric Carlstrom.

There was this girl. She would tell the whole world her life story, but there was still a sadness and loneliness behind her big brown eyes. We were dating for a small period of time, and got very close. One day, out of no where, she ended it.
