I nearly died the day my beautiful baby was born. The doctors saved my life but in doing so, accidentally injured my upper spine. After a nearly a year mostly bedridden, I was able to find doctors who could bring healing but it was rocky road for a long time. I learned to actually lean into pain and find Jesus IN it rather than run when I saw it coming. To be human is to feel pain. To be Christian is to know where to go when it comes.

Oddly enough, I wrote this song during a very dark (yet beautiful) time while I was sitting at my father's side 12 hours a day. I was sad every second of the day and running on fumes, but I smiled when I heard the music. So, I put words to it. It stemmed from something my husband told me: "Something only holds power over you if you let it."

A song about a tender and lasting love inspired my own love story with my hubby of 34 years. Could be male/female or duet. Still working on lyrics. (Original home brewed lyrics set to Suno Pro melody/vocals for editing purposes)

Neo traditional country style. Instill have my dads old phone that I keep charged and basic service on because it has his voice on his VM. I just need to chat with him sometimes even though he is no longer here. My original lyrics/SUNO PRO (paid service) melody and vocal.
