The world needs more songs that are just plain fun, and this is a bluegrass song that was super fun to write and to watch the session players demo.

This is a song I've written as a duet (I'm singing both parts because its just me and my pets right now!) I wanted the song to just stay retrospective...and not get inspirational or angry or add some life lesson at the end but just keep with the one emotion and just dig into that. Hopefully I accomplished that?

I wrote this song driving south through South Carolina’s Low country headed down to Savannah Georgia. It’s a feel good coming home type song that takes visuals from and around the area of the country referred as the low country.

I started writing this from my perspective and then halfway through I found out a friend of mine has just moved back to New Zealand after finding that her husband had been having an affair and a complete secret life.

A song I wrote after I found out my wife had been having an affair, telling lies about me which resulted in my house being broken into by the man and his friend. They trashed the place, beat me up, hit my dog Reef. They did go to Jail thankfully!

After all the dust settled I met my soulmate and I realised the most important thing is to be a beautiful human being to others, you never know what is around the corner.

With the current female explosion in country music spear headed by Kasey Musgraves, I'm thinking it may be time to dust this song off and start pitching it again.
