I wrote this song shortly after joining NSAI in 2001. I remember the instructor saying to, "Try to paint a picture with your lyric." I recently came across this song in my files and, although I know the song doesn't fit the mold of today's current style, it still took me back to "Many Years Ago"

I was dating a girl and wanted to move forward. She did too, but kept stalling. This song was born right before the breakup.
