Love this. Perfect song for radio. “She could raise the Titanic with a long enough chain.” Love that! One thought: A lot of people name their trucks. Wonder if you could fit that in there somewhere.

THAT’S MY TRUCK

Written by Steve Stone

She's got a big block
Takes off like a bat out of hell from a dead stop
Three on the tree, bench seat
Reupholstered with a fitted sheet
She ain't too pretty, but that's ok
I kinda got a thing for primer gray
If you follow me too close
I hope you like the smell of smoke

Yeah That's my truck, I don't care what you think
You can stare me down, or roll your eyes at me
But she's an old workhorse and I'll never give her up
When my baby climbs in a rev it up a little
She gives me that look and scoots over to the middle
That tree stump pullin' dirt road eatin'
Smoking old bucket of rust
Yeah, that's my truck

She's a work of art in used parts
They know me by name at all the salvage yard
An old tool box, a spare tire
I keep them tied down with some baling wire
A full-size bed, I keep it clean
You just never know, if you know what I mean
Cause no matter where we're at
She might want to jump in back

Yeah That's my truck, I don't care what you think
You can stare me down, or roll your eyes at me
But she's an old workhorse and I'll never give her up
When my baby climbs in a rev it up a little
She gives me that look and scoots over to the middle
That tree stump pullin' dirt road eatin'
Smoking old bucket of rust
Yeah, that's my truck

When I put it to the floor that 454
Will set you back in your seat
And have you grabbing the door
It's more about power than it is about paint
She could raise the Titanic with a long enough chain

Yeah That's my truck, I don't care what you think
You can stare me down, or roll your eyes at me
But she's an old workhorse and I'll never give her up
When my baby climbs in a rev it up a little
She gives me that look and scoots over to the middle
That tree stump pullin' dirt road eatin'
Smoking old bucket of rust
Yeah, that's my truck
