I wanted to do another 60's girl group thing. There's a nice time signature change in the bridge.

After enjoying Roy Orbison's "Black and White Night" concert on TV, I imagined what it would be like to write a song that might fit within that set list. The next day this song emerged, and emerged rather easily truth be told. I couldn't find a male singer up to grade but changing the lyric to female perspective was easy, and my "go to girl" did a great job with the vocal.

A person who has struggled with self esteem and self worth in areas of their life describes what that felt like. The turn around attitude and affirmation to actually do better sums up the title Time 2 Live
