I wrote this Christmas song with my buddies Brian Hitt and Jay Speight. Good guys, and I'm really proud to be a part of this song.

Hi Brent,
I’m thinking Amy Grant here. Wow! This vocalist delivers the song with a powerful tone and conviction. She has a great voice!
Love the title, it caught my attention. The chorus absolutely rocks!

1) A bunch about this to like (Nice vocals, lyrics are solid, the song gets your attention, etc.)
2) However, on the bridge—imho, the chords need to change — | Dm F/C | Bflat F/A | Gm sus7 |Csus7 C7 | — this set of chord changes is to chord movement as “Moon and June” is to rhyme schemes—absolutely done to death.
3) I repeat, there is much to like about this song—I just don’t like the hackneyed chord sequence on the bridge.

This is a really beautiful well written song. I’m sure it could be successful with the right Christian artist because it’s a great song with a great message. I agree with Ronnie Glen that Amy Grant would be perfect for this. I think she writes her own songs. Maybe I am wrong about that and you you might try her anyway. It’s certainly a song she would love and might sing.

VERSE:
Young girl, scared to death
Wondering how she's gonna explain
Will her friends point and laugh
Turn their backs, say she oughta be ashamed
Will mom and dad send her away?
VERSE:
She could run, she could hide, tell a lie
But the truth is still gonna show
Everything’s gonna change, but she has faith
God’s not gonna let her go
Though her life seems out of control
CHORUS:
She's expecting a miracle
So impossibly beautiful
Heaven knows what happens next, and yet
She believes the unbelievable
And she carries a ray of hope
She’s expecting a miracle
VERSE:
Nine months down the road, bitter cold
Bethlehem’s a lonely place
Desperate for a bed, Mary says
Joseph don’t you be afraid
God’s gonna make a way
CHORUS: [REPEAT]
BRIDGE:
Now the baby’s on the way
How they’ve waited for this day
She knows He’s come to save
CHORUS: [REPEAT]
