It was kind of mellow, I was waiting for a dramatic punchline or word to add some spark. It is a nice relaxing song. I wish it had more imagery or adjectives, but they might have disrupted the mellow flow of the song.

No, really pretty solid in my book—maybe slightly formulaic (imho), but that probably just means that everyone else will think it’s “right on the money”!!! Anyway, the song’s likable, and feels very “comfortable”—it won’t surprise me if you end up with interest from some singers/publishers on this one—best of luck with this one!
