I got a ‘kick’ out of your song:)  Well written, and never works for ‘mama’ to interfere.  Only thing I could say is I really didn’t think the first line of bridge added anything, the last two said it all and the ‘leash’ reference with your hook was great!

Bloodhound

Your daddy never liked me babe I know its true
Your momma kept pushing my love away from you
She’s packed your bags and drove off deep into the night
Now she’s got herself into a real dogfight

Chorus:
Cause I’m a bloodhound
Got my nose to the ground
Searching every nook and cranny in this town
No stones girl, will go unturned
Digging up every clue and they’re gonna learn
I’m a bloodhound (Dog Howl in background)
Yeah I’m a bloodhound

From the first time that I met you, girl I realized
Something magical was happening
Right before my eyes
You had me panting like an old dog, wagging his tail
I’m coming for you honey
I’m hot on your trail

Chorus:
Cause I’m a bloodhound
Got my nose to the ground
Searching every nook and cranny in this town
No stones girl, will go unturned
Digging up every clue and they’re gonna learn
I’m a bloodhound (Dog Howl in background)
Yeah I’m a bloodhound

They can take me through the alleys or the avenues
Up the highest mountains, through the swamps or the slews
You can count on me baby, don’t you fret
It may take a little time but don’t you forget

Chorus:
I’m a bloodhound
Got my nose to the ground
Searching every nook and cranny in this town
No stones girl, will go unturned
Digging up every clue and they’re gonna learn
I’m a bloodhound (Dog Howl in background)
Yeah I’m a bloodhound

Bridge:
Your love is so damn easy and it feels so right
If they want to leash you baby
I’ll give em a fight

Chorus:
Cause I’m a bloodhound
Got my nose to the ground
Searching every nook and cranny in this town
No stones girl, will go unturned
Digging up every clue and their gonna learn
I’m a bloodhound

Repeat:
Got my nose to the ground
Searching every nook and cranny in this town
No stones girl, will go unturned
Digging up every clue til I find you
I'm a bloodhound (Dog Howl in background)
Yeah I’m a bloodhound
Oooh I’m a bloodhound
Til i find you
I’m a bloodhound
