About This Song

They say major 7th and minor 7th chords are the chords of "love". Well, this song is full of them, but kind of sad. It's unrequited love - the worst kind ! Whether you like this song or not, it's really fun to play.

As usual - I like to get any and all feedback.

Dick, Really great guitar playing. This does sound like it would be fun to play. Thanks for adding the lyrics. It was great to follow along with them.

Love it! Nice use of my favorite chords. One more harmony track and it would sound like The Association or Lettermen.

Turn Around

Don’t want to have to tell you
Don’t wanna cause you pain
Don’t want to be the messenger
Don’t think I can explain

(chorus)
But he’s not the man for you
Can’t you see he’s gonna let you down
If you want someone to love you & hold you
All you have to do - is turn around

Don’t want to be the voice of doom
Say he’s cheating on the side
When you asked if there was someone else
He probably lied

(repeat Chorus)

(bridge)
You always thought of me as your best friend
That’s what I led you to believe
It’s getting harder to live this lie
It’s time for truth and I’m so relieved

I’ve gone and said it anyway
Let the cat out of the bag
I’ve loved you from the very start
Holding back has been such a drag

(repeat Chorus)
