This was one of those songs that starts out around 3am when a couple lines and melody wake you up running around in your head. So I got up and had a good rough demo by daybreak. From there it's all about production...

Reflecting back on my own life, I remember those wild years with my wife and I and always knew as crazy as it was some nights, we would find our way back home to be together. Years later, it is comforting to know we still end up at home 'together'. Good 2-steppin' song!

Too many trips... too many miles... This song is the end result of traveling too much. I think of it as a driving road song and quite a bit different than I've been writing this past year. Probably be on my next CD collection though.

3am and I wake up suddenly with this thought in my head that I had to get up and lay down with an acoustic guitar and rough vocal before I could go back to sleep. I wrote this one for no particular reason. It's theme is simple... A man's selling points for trying to gain the attention of his object of affection. I originally wrote this on an acoustic guitar with the riff of Neil Diamond's song 'Cherry, Cherry' but later, changed it around with electronic drums in the verses and real drums kicking in over the chorus.
