I enjoy sports (especially college football), concerts, cycling, my home, family & friends.  A lot of people ask, “Don’t you like to travel?”  I like an occasional short trip to a concert or a football game, but I truly enjoy being at my home.  My most impactful experience (aside from meeting my wife and the birth of my 2 sons) was hearing session musicians play songs I wrote (5) at a recording studio in Hende

My main instrument is the keyboard. Because I grew up in a very small, "Mayberry-like" town, I attended a school that encompassed grades 1 - 12, all on the same campus and I was in the high school band (played French horn) in the 3rd grade. When I was in the 10th grade, I formed a band out of members of our high school band. We basically modeled our sound after The Tijuana Brass, made up of 2-trumpets, a baritone, a trombone, and my brother on percussion, as well as me on a Hammond organ. I became addicted to the arranging process, although the varying key signatures of these different instruments posed a major hurdle, at least initially.
