I wrote this song as a positive message to never give up and to keep trying even if you fail

This song was inspired by my passion and feelings toward my beautiful wife

I wrote and recorded this in 1976 when I was a Teamster working in Clinton, Illinois

Whiskey is a standard in Country music. You can hardly hear a country song without it. However, this one approaches from a different angle, and how it can destroy your life, but also how God can deliver you from it. It’s also a “reply” song to Cole Swindell’s “She Ain’t Worth The Whiskey”. This one made it to #26 on Christian Music Weekly Country chart.

Humorous tune about a guy who feels his calling in life is drinking because he’s so good at it.

It started as a reply from always hearing the term “simple life”, thinking there’s got to be another way of saying this. Wrote it around the title. This one is a rough draft but reached #1 (twice) the Christian Music Weekly Country chart. Enjoy.

I started writing Anthem songs with my Co-Writers (listed in the lyrics). I had always wanted to write a song with "America" in the chorus, but not in the title. So....

Came from a song title challenge and man have we got a seriously cool one out of it!!!!
