LOL! - Ok. Pretty sure I've accidentally broken every Songwriting Pro rule on this one. ....But it was SO much fun! I'll get back to writing toward the radio bullseye soon. Just think: Nitty Gritty Dirt Trepeaux for me!
This is the Live in Little Rock version of 125 written with co-writer C. Jones. It's based on a poor ole young goof who had to do a little unexpected hitchhiking. As he's out there he realizes his wild and crazy young, fast love thoughts are just a dream and really not the way to go for "life's long, successful haul" home. - Just a fun work in progress with more imagery to be added soon. Thanks for listening. Hey, play it at the back yard barbeque once your friends have tied a few on! Maybe it'll work that way. - LOL! And HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!!

“No More One Days” was inspired by a real couple I became friends with through the hospital world (I'm in the medical field). The husband was critically ill and waiting on a heart transplant and going through a long recovery, and one day he told his wife, “One day we’ll finally take that trip to Nashville.” She looked at him and basically said, “No more one days.”
That hit me because it wasn’t really about Nashville, it was about realizing how easy it is to keep putting life off until suddenly time feels fragile. The song lives in that hospital-room tension between fear, hope, exhaustion, and gratitude. Instead of focusing on tragedy, it turns toward urgency and choosing to live now while you still can.
The core message is simple: stop waiting for “someday” to start living.

This country heartbreak song mixes sharp humor, attitude, and a little revenge with a whole lot of truth. When loyalty disappears and promises turn into lies, sometimes a dog sounds like the better companion.
Melody and lyrics all written by me. Used SUNO to create the demo.
