My wife got tired of me writing breakup songs, so just to prove that I am still a romantic soul, I wrote this one about everlasting love. I hope you enjoy it.
Always enjoy hearing the feedback. Thanks in advance.
Hello Allen,
Great commercial concept.
Very singable.
Strong melodic opportunities.
I think Robert is on to something it may
need another layer of originality in the verses to elevate it from a very good love song to one that feels unmistakably unique.

Verse 1:
The fog lifted
And The clouds drifted apart
And your smile revealed a sunrise so bright
My head resting on your shoulder until
All the weight of my world felt so light
That blue in your eyes spelled forever
Take my hand I completely surrender
Chorus:
Our infinity
Can’t be measured in days
Can’t be measured in heartbeats
Or the number of breaths that we take
Find the clearest summer night
Count the stars that you see
That’s the limit of our love
That’s our infinity
Verse 2:
Every moment
Paints a new memory
We'll build them up one brick at a time
Til our castle
Reaches up to the sky
And our dreams live forever inside
Every kiss brings me closer to heaven
In your arms our love's never ending
Chorus:
Our infinity
Can’t be measured in days
Can’t be measured in heartbeats
Or the number of breaths that we take
Find the clearest summer night
Count the stars that you see
That's the limit of our love
That's our infinity
That's the limit of our love, our love, our love
That's the limit of our love, our love, our love
Find the clearest summer night
Count the stars that you see
That's the limit of our love
That's our infinity

I liked this one. I think if you wanted to add more to it you could but you don’t necessarily have to. I think your wife is right.
