Brilliant. This one’s ready to roll. Have you sent it to anyone in the business yet?

That song is hot - smoking hot, Very cool melody and has that country “big singable chorus”. You also did a great job of writing in the key of hot, (In other words, everything points to the theme of being hot. Good job.

Smokin’ Hot

Written by Dave Undis

Smokin’ Hot
by Dave Undis and Lucy Leblanc and Michael Skotte

VERSE 1
She was at the library checking out books
I almost didn’t give her a second look.
Granny glasses, hair in a bun,
An Aunt Clara blouse, the buttons all done.
The twinkle in her smile made me realize
Her librarian look was just a disguise.
She SSHed me when I asked for a date,
Gave me her address, whispered “Friday at eight”.

CHORUS
That girl is hot, she’s smokin’ hot.
Cooking non-stop, hotter than red hot.
That girl is hot, smokin’ hot.
I thought she was a plain Jane, but she’s not.
That girl is hot, she’s smokin’ hot.

VERSE 2
When I picked her up, her glasses were gone.
Her hair was down, she had a tube top on.
Hot pink short shorts painted on her hips,
Jet black nails, fire engine lips.
No one’s got a walk or a body like hers.
Her wiggles have wiggles. Her curves have curves.
I did my third or fourth double take
When she told me fries came with her shake.

CHORUS
That girl is hot, she’s smokin’ hot.
Cooking non-stop, hotter than red hot.
That girl is hot, smokin’ hot.
I thought she was a plain Jane, but she’s not.
That girl is hot, she’s smokin’ hot.

BRIDGE
I found out she’s more than the sum of her parts.
She’s smart as a whip. She’s got the sweetest of hearts.
She makes me laugh. She loves to have fun.
I’ve never known a girl like her. I think she might be the one.

CHORUS
That girl is hot, she’s smokin’ hot.
Cooking non-stop, hotter than red hot.
That girl is hot, smokin’ hot.
Five-alarm hot, off-of-the-charts hot.
That girl is hot, smokin’ hot.
I thought she was a plain Jane, but she’s not.
That girl is hot, she’s smokin’ hot.
