VERSE
Thanks for asking me to dance.
I like it when it’s the girl who asks.
Thanks for sitting so close to me.
I love the feel of your hand on my knee.
Yes, I’ll drive you home if you want to go.
But there’s something you really need to know.
CHORUS
I’m already taken. I’m in love and I’m a one-woman man.
I’m taken. I need to know you understand.
Being so nice to me, well I’m really moved.
But I’m already taken. Taken with you.
VERSE
Thanks for letting me love you.
I’ll never forget when you said “I do”.
Thanks for cleaning up my mess,
And putting up with all my friends.
Yes, I love the way you treat me so fine.
But you’re kinda sorta wasting your time.
CHORUS
I’m already taken. I’m in love and I’m a one-woman man.
I’m taken. I need to know you understand.
Being so nice to me, well I’m really moved.
But I’m already taken. Taken with you.
BRIDGE
Take it from me.
I’m taken, and I always will be.
CHORUS
I’m already taken. I’m in love and I’m a one-woman man.
I’m taken. I need to know you understand.
Being so nice to me, well I’m really moved.
But I’m already taken. Taken with you.
CHORUS
I’m in love and I’m a one-woman man
I’m taken. I need to know you understand.
Being so nice to me, well I’m really moved.
But I’m already taken. Taken with you.
I’m taken. I need to know you understand.
I’m taken.
Yeah I’m taken.
I’m already taken. Taken with you.

I dunno.
Something doesn’t connect with me, lyrically. When the song goes from V1 to the Chorus, it sounds like the singer is refusing her advances, but then the last line is confusing - I’m taken with you.
It reverses everything I thought I knew about the song.
It’s a clever trick, but it doesn’t work (for me).
“Taken with you” is a nice line / title. Shake the song down, using that title, and discard the stuff that doesn’t fit the title.
