Verse
Well I came here for some fun
and some time in the Mexican sun
I’ve had 2 weeks of pleasure
and tropical weather
And this time I’m not on the run.
2nd verse
But now I’ve gotta go home
I’m so damn happy when I roam
I never tire of relaxin’
drinking and dancin’
and making all plans on my own..
Time for one more tecate
before I get on that plane.
I’m not going back sober
Thats what I told her
as she poured me a cold one that day.
Time for one more tecate
and add a lime if you please
I’m going back to the real life
and a life that aint so right
When I get back I’m gonna freeze.
Time for one more tacate
Hell buy a round for the house.
Ive got to spend all these pesos
Before I have to go
so drink up before I fly out.
Time for one more Tacate
And pass that shaker of salt
Put on some old jimmy buffet
And a shot of tequila and remember it’s my own damn fault.
well now I am boarding my flight
Going back to work is just not right.
I wanna hang with the locals, party, and go loco
and watch the sun set every night.
Here comes the cart down the isle.
Look up a her as she smiles
When She asks what I’m having
I’ll say without babbling
Can I pay with my last few air miles?
...I’ll have one more Tacate
Before I land in The states
If I have to go back now
Then I might as well chill out
(Call my boss and tell him I’ll be late)

Man, I love this vibe, the voice of the singer, and the simplicity of the track!
