I love this perspective and this concept. Such a cool idea and so relatable and healing for so many. Your melodies are beautiful. There is one part that could totally just be my taste, not right or wrong, but when you say “each step of the way”, maybe you could try saying that quicker, like 16th notes? Not sure if that makes any sense, but in my mind when I listened, that’s what my brain was telling the melody to do there! Love this so much!

PRODUCTION: Outstanding!
LYRICS: Really first-rate (though the last line of the bridge (“I hope you live the best life can in every way, it’s okay”) felt/seemed a little meandering/indirect.
MUSICALLY: instrumentally very solid, though a little too much (chord sequence) of 1 - 5 - 6minor - 4—I know that’s solid “formulaically,” and I’m guessing no one else will even mention this, but I guess that simply has to do with how my musical tastes run (harmonically speaking).
VOCALS: Ooh-la-la—great vocals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think you’re very talented, and I expect to see you making a name for yourself in the field of songwriting.
