I was walking down the street
With My sun glasses on another hand
And my phone on the other
Why haven’t I heard from you?
I still remember that day
When we were singing so loud
That neighbour almost had to call the cops
That summer night,
that summer you were my summer song
My summer song
There was beer garden full of the people
And a man who looked just like you
Could it be, I walked up to him
No, the man said and shaked his head
I still remember that day
When we were singing so loud
That neighbour almost had to call the cops
That summer night,
that summer you were my summer song
My summer song
I really need to feel and hear my summer song
I still remember that day
When we were singing so loud
That neighbour almost had to call the cops
That summer night,
that summer you were my summer song
My summer song

A few basic observations (and these come from listening to several of your songs):
Vocal range—In your low end, your voice is often covered up by the guitar—however, avoid the high end of your vocal range (as much as possible), as it can get REALLY “abrasive and edgy”—I would suggest recording your guitar track first (possibly with a scratch vocal track), and then going back and recording your vocals. Of course, I understand if this is not currently a possibility, for whatever reasons.
Generally, your lyrics are (imho) probably your strongest suit—you might want to think about having someone else record your songs—remember, this is strictly ONE musician’s opinion!!!
Best wishes in your songwriting endeavors!
