I try to listen without reading other reviews. I am sucker for truck driving songs. I remember a time when they were very popular. Seems like u don’t hear any in this new era of country. Only suggestion the old classic lead turnaround where everyone plays there part a little long for me . Loved backup singing. Overall ur A+ In my book ..keep trukn. Good buddy

Kevin…I didn’t do the turn around as I wanted to extend the song a bit more otherwise it may have been a little too short IMO.
As for the BG vocals that was wife Lori who had NEVER sung up until doing these vocals.
However I did have to bribe her with a bottle of red wine…which she finished at the end of the session… LOL

Tempo is always a good thing. Not really any surprises lyrically or melodically, though. It’d be nice to have a few surprises. But nothing feels “wrong.” It’s fun.
