I have one regret in my life… that I did not move to Nashville right out of high school and just worked odd jobs while working on my music. I have been writing since I got my first guitar around 14 years of age. I don’t think I have ever experienced writer’s block though perhaps I’m unaware that I have always been under its spell. I will let others judge that. But I am at peace when I write.

I am a singer-songwriter, play the guitar and also enough of the keyboards to get into trouble. I produce my own demo recordings in my home out of necessity, but I also love the producing. I write both music and lyrics but enjoy working with other lyricists just to keep a fresh approach, and it's fun.

I enjoy very little of anything but when I like something I love it. I like all styles with a melody. I love Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" or maybe even "The Impossible Dream" and things such as that. In the modern day I love many Lennon-McCartney compositions, Burt Bacharach, Mancini, and for movie soundtracks I love John Barry. I like the Christian music of Mercy Me. But just about anything if it has great melody. I love some rock, some country, some classical, I even love doing commercial ditties. I love writing for theatre and have co-written musicals. But really, just about anything.
