My word Bob… this is a SUPER cute song (if I am allowed to say that:-). In the right hands I just don’t know!!!!!! Your demo is precious and your singer (you?) really aced the rhythm of the song and jumping lyrics and harmonies.

And your chorus/bridge had a beautiful hooking melody/chord swing. Very unusual and refreshing to the ear. I could hear a Caribbean take on this via a Buffett like artist or Kenny Chesney as he has the beach thing going on. With Kenny’s harder voice I wonder if the song would suffer but he just may pull of something like this and surprise us.

Congratulations Bob… this is a fabulous song in my opinion.

LITTLE STONE

Written by Bob Runk

JUST TAKE THIS LITTLE STONE ... PUT IT ON YOUR FINGER
YOU’LL NEVER BE ALONE ... AND I WILL BE YOUR SINGER
AND YOU SHOULD REALIZE ... THAT WHEN YOU CLOSE YOUR EYES
I LINGER

I HEAR YOUR LITTLE GIGGLES ... I FEEL YOUR LITTLE WIGGLES
AND IT MAKES ME WANT TO SMILE ... WHEN I HEAR THE GENTLE STYLE
OF YOUR TINY LITTLE VOICE ... THERE IS NO SWEETER NOISE
THAT’S WHY I LINGER

I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERY DAY ... EVER SINCE YOU CAME THIS WAY
LET’S GO AND KISS A RAINBOW ... UNDERNEATH THE WATERFALL
AND HEAR THE WHISTLE OF THE TRAIN BLOW
THROUGH THE TREES IN THE MOUNTAINS TALL
I CAN TEACH YOU HOW TO TIE YOUR LACES
AND DRAW SOME SILLY FACES

JUST HOLD THAT TINY LLITTLE PEBBLE IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR HAND TONIGHT
AND THEN WE’LL SPEAK TOGETHER IN THE MORNING WHEN THE SUNSHINE’S BRIGHT
BUT NOW THAT YOU'VE COME HOME
I FOUND THIS LITTLE STONE
PLEASE TAKE THIS DIAMOND RING
I WILL GIVE YOU EVERYTHING ... LITTLE STONE

WELL I GIVE TO YOU THIS RING, MY SACRED PROMISING
I’LL NEVER LEAVE YOU DEAR, NOW MATTER WHAT YOU HEAR
IF YOU TAKE THIS DIAMOND BRIGHT, I WILL HOLD YOU IN THE NIGHT
PLEASE TAKE THIS LITTLE STONE

I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERY DAY ... EVER SINCE YOU CAME THIS WAY
LET’S GO AND KISS A RAINBOW ... UNDERNEATH THE WATERFALL
AND HEAR THE WHISTLE OF THE TRAIN BLOW
THROUGH THE TREES IN THE MOUNTAINS TALL
I CAN TEACH YOU HOW TO TIE YOUR LACES
AND DRAW SOME SILLY FACES
