Hi Amber… First off, great song! And if I was your producer I would have your doing the opening little pops of words (that are super!) but have done them softly and maybe even some harmonies and OH SO SWEET! You did only a guitar-vocal so I understand you may even have wanted this done. The song because of your opening line of these “POPS” in your melody/wording is memorable and that is starting to get rare these days in the country field at least.
I will let others comment on the lyrics but you really have a nice song here!
